The second Liverpool Triathlon is based on the Kings Waterfront but the route for the cycle element of the triathlon comes along the northbound lanes of Wapping and The Strand and uses Great Howard Street. Wapping and The Strand are open to southbound traffic which will give access to the City, but due to the nature of the event, Great Howard Street will be fully closed from early morning until Lunch time.
Access to Awesome Walls will be available at all times via Vauxhall Road, Boundary Street and Shadwell Street.
The road will be reopened immediately after the last competitor passes through!!!
